Automatic Welding Machine with Enclosed Precision Laser Protective Shell for Metal Parts

The standard enclosed machine has one sealed cabinet that serves as both the process chamber and the safety barrier. The protective enclosure version adds a second, outer housing around that cabinet. The inner cabinet still controls the weld atmosphere, while the outer shell provides an independent physical barrier against stray laser reflections and heavy spatter. Both layers have interlocked doors.

The outer enclosure doors are designed to open and close with the same motion as the inner cabinet doors. Operators still load parts through a door-just one that has an additional panel behind it. The working distance and access are designed to match standard operations; the only difference is the added layer of material in the door assembly.

It is most useful for high-power applications (2000W-3000W), reflective materials like copper and aluminum, or facilities that require documented safety containment. For lower-power stainless steel or titanium work in a standard lab environment, the protective enclosure may not be necessary. The machine is designed to meet the physical containment requirements expected of a Class 4 laser product. The dual-enclosure and interlock system are engineered to keep laser radiation within the housing during normal operation. For classification documentation specific to your region, please discuss your requirements with our team.

The protective enclosure is integrated during manufacturing. Retrofitting an outer housing to a machine that was built without one is not recommended, as the interlocks, door seals, and structural mounts are part of the base frame design. If you need a machine with a protective enclosure, it is best to order it configured that way from the factory.
