Parts with unusual geometry, small clamping area, fine edges, shaped ends, asymmetric forms, or miniature size are the most common cases. If a standard clamp cannot hold the part stably enough for repeat welding, a custom fixture is usually worth reviewing.

Drawings are usually enough for the first engineering review. Physical samples help confirm actual fit, clamping behavior, and loading stability, so we recommend providing them whenever possible.

We review material type, wall thickness, joint form, and heat sensitivity first. Thinner, finer medical parts are more often matched with 1500W, while 2000W is chosen when the part needs more process margin.

In some projects, yes, if the parts share similar geometry and clamping features. When the part family changes too much, separate fixture concepts usually give more stable production results.
