Q:What oilfield pipes can the TA elevator lift?
A:
It is applicable to regular drill pipes, production tubing, casings and ESP pipe assemblies for tripping, completion and workover operations. It cannot be used for bent, dented pipes or pipes with deformed joints.
Q:Can I use one set of TA elevator for different pipe sizes?

Yes. Change matched slip inserts to adapt to various pipe diameters. Please confirm exact pipe OD before ordering corresponding slips to guarantee stable clamping.
Q:What regular inspection requirements apply to TA elevator under A-P-I rules?
A:
Magnetic particle inspection is required every 6 months. Full load test and surface flaw inspection must be carried out immediately if the elevator suffers heavy impact, overload hoisting or long-term intensive use. Failed products are prohibited from operation.

Q:How to deal with inflexible opening and closing in low-temperature outdoor conditions?
A:
Remove mud, rust and dirt from latch grooves and slip tracks, then coat with low-temperature anti-freeze lubricating grease. Never hammer the elevator forcibly. Replace cold-resistant springs if original springs stiffen and fail to rebound.
