What is the exact thickness of the acrylic sheet? Is it pure acrylic or ABS?

We use PMMA (pure acrylic) sheets, not ABS. The standard thickness is 3mm-5mm for the top layer. The reinforcement is a hand-layered fiberglass (UP resin) with a total thickness of 4-8mm. (Note: Inferior tubs are often heavy because they use cheap fillers like calcium carbonate, not pure acrylic).

How do you ensure the tub doesn't crack over time?

We use a high-density sandwich structure (Acrylic + UP resin + fiberglass). The tub edges are reinforced with an extra layer of resin and wood/steel framing to prevent deformation. We also use a gel coat finish on the underside to prevent moisture absorption.

What is the internal water depth (from floor to overflow)?

The standard water depth is 38cm - 45cm (15-18 inches) . A deeper soak is better. We can customize the overflow height based on your request.

Do you use an Air Pump or a Water Pump? What is the power?

IT DEPENDS ON THE MODEL YOU CHOOSE, WE HAVE BOTH CHOICES FOR DIFFERENT MODELS;
Answer (Whirlpool/Water Jets): We use a 1 HP , 1.5 HP to 2.0 HP induction motor water pump (Power: 750W-1500W).
Answer (Bubble/Air Tub): We use a 200W to 400W heated air blower (to blow warm air, not cold air).

How many jets do I get for a 1.7m tub?

For a standard 1.7m Whirlpool: 6-10 water jets. For an Air Spa: 16-24 air jets. We can also customize the placement for specific body parts

Is the pump IP rated for bathroom safety?

Accepted Answer

The pump unit is usually IPX4 (splash-proof) or IPX5, but the pump must be placed in a dry zone or ventilated area under the tub. We do not recommend installing electronics directly where water pools.

Do you include a leakage protection plug?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All electrical components come with a ground wire and a residual current device (RCD) / GFCI plug. We require the installer to verify the local house ground connection

How do you protect the acrylic surface during sea freight?

Accepted Answer

We wrap the tub in a PE foam + plastic stretch film to prevent scratches, then place it inside a wooden crate (or plywood case) fixed on a wooden pallet. It is suitable for container stacking.

What if the tub arrives chipped or scratched at the port?

1. Document damage on the Bill of Lading.
2. Send us photos of the damage (box and product) within 7 days.
3. We provide free repair kits for minor scratches, or we negotiate a discount for major structural damage.

How do I fix a deep scratch or a cigarette burn?

Use wet sanding (1500-3000 grit) to level the surface, then polish with a rubbing compound. For burns, we provide a repair gel paste. It requires a heat gun and curing time of 24 hours.

What does the warranty cover specifically?

10 year on the acrylic shell (against yellowing/cracking).

The internal drain hose is pre-installed at the factory. However, the external trap and connecting pipe to the house drain are not included (locally purchased).

How do you water test the tubs?

Every tub is filled with water for 24 hours to check for leaks in the drain and the jet seals. We also run the pump with water for 10 minutes to test noise levels before packaging.

I understand. Are they using ABS or Pure Acrylic? Many cheaper tubs are heavy because they mix chalk into the resin. Our lighter weight means higher purity, so it won't crack or yellow as fast. The repair cost for theirs is a replacement; for ours, it's just sandpaper.
