This is often caused by adding too much silicone oil which destroys molecular weight, or adding too much catalyst (more than 2% for tin cure) which reduces tension and tear strength. Using high hardness rubber for small intricate designs or low hardness for large simple designs can also cause issues.

Q:Why does the silicone mold get burnt out?

Burnt out molds occur when using unsaturated resin without demolding within 3 minutes, as the curing agent generates great heat. Our silicone rubber contains special materials to resist high temperatures and prevent this.
