Common reasons include adding too much silicone oil which destroys molecular weight, adding excessive catalyst (more than 2% for tin catalyst) which speeds up operation and reduces strength, or using the wrong hardness for the product design.

Q:Why does the silicone mold get burnt out?

This occurs when using unsaturated resin materials that generate high heat. You must demould the product within 3 minutes. Our rubber includes special materials to resist high temperatures.

Q:Why does the silicone mould appear dry outside but wet inside?

This is a condensation silicone rubber that solidifies by absorbing moisture. To fix this, add 0.05% water and stir briefly at low speed before use.

Q:Why is the tear strength of silicone molds weak?

Weakness is caused by adding too much silicone oil, adding excessive catalyst (recommended max 5%, ideally 2%), or using the mold prematurely before the recommended 24-hour curing period.
