NBR stands for Nitrile Butadiene Rubber, a synthetic rubber. It contains no latex proteins, is non-toxic and harmless. NBR is more durable, oil-resistant, and age-resistant than TPE, while TPE offers better elasticity and softer touch. High-quality NBR is non-toxic; a slight odor may be present when new but dissipates after airing for a few days.
