Our foam tubes are made from 100% virgin NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber) with a closed-cell structure. We do not use recycled materials or blends with cheaper foams like EPE or EVA. Material test reports are available upon request.
Q:What is the difference between NBR foam tubes and EPE foam tubes?
A:
The key difference is oil resistance and fire performance. NBR has natural oil and chemical resistance thanks to its nitrile base, while EPE does not. Our NBR tubes also meet GB B1 fire-rated standards (self-extinguishing), which EPE typically cannot achieve. NBR also offers better elasticity and long-term durability.
Q:Is it fire resistant? What certifications do you have?

Yes, our standard NBR foam tubes meet GB B1 fire-rated standards - they self-extinguish immediately once the flame is removed. We can also provide ROHS and REACH compliance reports for your documentation needs.

Our NBR foam tubes perform reliably from -40~105 Celsius They remain flexible in extreme cold without cracking, and stable in high heat without softening or deforming.
Q:Are your NBR tubes waterproof? Can they be used outdoors?

Yes. With a closed-cell rate above 95%, our NBR tubes are effectively waterproof and moisture-resistant. They work well for outdoor applications, cold storage, and condensation-prone environments. However, for long-term outdoor UV exposure, we recommend additional cladding or UV-resistant coating.
