Q:What are the differences between a semi-automatic and full automatic wrapper?

The main difference is the automation degree. Semi-automatic wrappers need human intervention to start the cycle, while automatic wrappers are part of a fully automatic packing line. Semi-automatic platforms can be installed anywhere, whereas automatic variants require a conveyor line for pallet flow.
Q:How to choose a suitable pallet wrapper?
A:
For low production (less than 20 pallets/hour), we recommend semi-automatic wrappers. For 30-40 pallets/hour, an automatic wrapper (rotary arm or low-production ring) is suitable. For outputs over 40 pallets/hour or specific requirements, a high-performance ring wrapper is the reliable choice.
Q:What kind of film and consumables does a pallet wrapper use?
A:
Pallet wrappers usually use stretch film (LLDPE), pre-stretched film, or stretch kraft paper. Standard film can stretch between 25% and 300%. Pre-stretched film is used for manual or semi-automatic applications with low tension, while stretch kraft paper is a 100% recyclable sustainable alternative.
