Q:What is a hydraulic rock splitter used for?

It is a static, non-explosive machine for breaking hard rock and reinforced concrete. Inserted into a pre-drilled hole, it uses powerful hydraulic force (up to 4800T for YGF-150) to split rock in seconds. It is widely used in granite/marble quarrying, mining, tunneling, foundation excavation and concrete demolition, especially where blasting is restricted.

Q:What materials can it split?

Granite, marble, limestone, basalt, quartzite, sandstone, volcanic rock, iron ore, coal and reinforced concrete. The harder and more brittle the rock, the better the splitting result.

Q:Which model should I choose?

We offer 5 models (110/130/150/180/220) with splitting forces from 3000T to 8000T and drill hole diameters from 110mm to 220mm. Tell us your rock type, hole diameter and site conditions, and our engineer will recommend the right model.

Q:Electric or diesel power station?

Both are available. Electric (4kw/7.5kw, 380V) suits sites with stable power and indoor/underground work; diesel (8HP/18HP) suits remote quarries and mines without electricity.

Q:Is it safe compared with blasting?

Yes. It works under static hydraulic pressure with no vibration, shock, noise, dust or flying debris. No blasting permit or complex safety measures are required, so it is safe in populated areas, near precision equipment and indoors/underground.
