Q:What is the difference between White Mesh and Yellow Mesh?

White Mesh is more economical and works well for lower mesh counts. Yellow Mesh is treated to prevent "light scattering" (halation) during UV exposure. It is essential for high-mesh counts (above 200) to ensure sharp edges and fine-detail retention in the stencil.

Q:Why is Polyester preferred over Nylon for screen printing?

Polyester has much lower elongation (less stretch) than Nylon. This allows the mesh to maintain high tension and dimensional stability, which is critical for accurate registration in multi-color printing. Nylon is only preferred for printing on curved or highly irregular surfaces due to its elasticity.

Q:Is the mesh compatible with all types of ink?

Yes. Our polyester mesh is chemically resistant and compatible with Water-based, Plastisol, UV-cured, and Solvent-based inks. It also withstands the harsh chemicals used during the reclaiming and cleaning process.
