This is a Front Printing backlit film (the matte side is the printable side). It is the most popular choice in the market because it offers higher color saturation and sharper details compared to reverse-print films.

Q:Which inks and printers are compatible with this film?

Our backlit film is highly versatile. We offer versions compatible with: Water-based inks (Dye & Pigment) for Epson/HP/Canon desktop or large-format printers. Eco-Solvent, UV, and Latex inks for industrial plotters like Roland, Mimaki, and Mutoh. Please ensure you select the correct coating version based on your ink type.

Q:Do I need to laminate the film after printing?

Our film features a Waterproof and Scratch-resistant coating, so lamination is not strictly necessary for short-term indoor use. However, for long-term outdoor displays or high-traffic areas, we recommend cold lamination to protect the image from UV fading and physical scratches.

Q:Why should I choose PET material over cheap PVC alternatives?

PET (Polyester) is superior to PVC in two ways: Heat Resistance: Lightboxes generate heat. PET stays perfectly flat and won't warp or shrink, while PVC often curls or deforms under heat. Light Diffusion: PET provides much more uniform light transmission, eliminating "hot spots" from the lamps.
