Q:How to distinguish specifications? What is the relation between DN, inch and outer diameter?
A:
UPVC pipe size is defined by outer diameter, DN is nominal diameter. DN25=OD32mm=1 inch; DN20=OD25mm=3/4 inch. Do NOT judge size by inner diameter. Please confirm outer diameter before order.
Q:How to connect UPVC pipes and fittings?
A:
Connected by UPVC solvent cement. Clean the socket first, apply glue evenly, insert tightly, and wait for full curing before water test. Do not bear pressure in advance.
Q:What is the working temperature? Can it transport hot water?
A:
Suitable for cold water, continuous working temperature: 0-60 deg C. Not recommended for water over 60 deg C, high temperature will cause deformation and reduce pressure resistance.
Q:Safe for drinking water?
A:
Made of virgin unplasticized UPVC material, non-toxic. Widely used in water purifier and cold drinking water system.
Q:Is it resistant to acid and alkali?
A:
Good chemical resistance to weak acid and weak alkali, ideal for water treatment. Not suitable for strong corrosive concentrated acid & alkali.
