Q:What is SRM6 Fully Sealed Gas Insulated Ring Main Unit?

SRM6-12 is compact C-GIS gas-insulated switchgear. All high-voltage live components are hermetically welded inside stainless-steel SF6 gas tank. It features fully-sealed, maintenance-free, small footprint, adapts to harsh outdoor & underground distribution network.
Q:What is its rated voltage & main technical parameters?
A:
Standard rated voltage 12kV, 50/60Hz. Rated current 630A-1250A; short-time withstand current 20kA-25kA /3s. Gas chamber protection grade IP67.
Q:Does SF6 gas need refilling during service life?
A:
The stainless steel gas tank is factory welded and filled with SF6 gas. Under normal operating conditions, no gas refilling required, service life up to 30 years.
Q:What kind of environment can SRM6 adapt to?
A:
Gas chamber IP67, cabinet IP54-IP65. Perfect for high-humidity, salt-fog coastal area, dusty, heavily-polluted sites, underground cabinet, tunnel, prefabricated substation and new-energy projects.
