Fasto Spring Channel Nut High-Strength Galvanized Steel Fastener

The spring channel nut (also called strut spring nut) is designed for quick, secure fastening in standard C-type strut channels. It's widely used in electrical/mechanical support systems, solar panel mounting, pipe/ductwork installations, construction framing, cable tray racks, and fire protection systems. The built-in spring holds the nut in place during installation, eliminating the need for temporary fasteners and preventing loosening under vibration.

We offer standard metric thread sizes: M4, M5, M6, M8, M10, M12 (custom sizes available on request). UNC/UNF thread types can also be customized for international projects. The nuts are compatible with common strut channel sizes like 41x21mm and 41x41mm.

The main body is made of carbon steel (Grade 4.8/8.8 available), and the spring is 65Mn spring steel for consistent elasticity. Standard surface finish is electro-galvanized (zinc-plated) for basic corrosion resistance; hot-dip galvanized (HDG) or Ruspert coating is optional for harsh outdoor/industrial environments.

Installation is quick and tool-free: Compress the spring slightly and insert the nut into the strut channel from the open end. Slide the nut to your desired position; the spring will automatically lock it in place. Align the bolt with the nut's thread and tighten to secure the connection. No welding or drilling is required, saving significant assembly time.

Yes. The spring-loaded design provides constant tension to resist loosening under vibration. For outdoor or corrosive environments, we recommend upgrading to HDG or Ruspert coated versions, which offer better rust protection than standard electro-galvanized finishes.
