Precheck includes verifying packing condition, appearance, and correspondence with the test certificate. Shake the interrupter to ensure the ceramic envelope is integrated. Test power frequency withstand voltage before operation. Clean the surface with a dry or alcohol-damped cloth. Apply 70% of rated power frequency withstand voltage between open contacts for 1 minute; the unit is qualified if there is no sudden change or trip.

Clean the surface with cotton or alcohol-dipped silk cloth before mounting. Ensure the conducting pole and connection surfaces are clean for good contact. Adjust the interrupter to match equipment specifications. Provide a guide unit during operation to ensure coaxality. Do not apply torque on the bellow or strike the envelope with hard objects.

Ensure the moving conducting pole is coaxial with the interrupter and vertical to the fixed end face. Avoid repeated disassembly to prevent screw slippage. Do not twist the moving pole or over-press the bellow to avoid torque and scratches. Ensure applied force does not exceed the static relief pressure stipulated in the specification.

Periodically check the vacuum interrupter using the power frequency withstand voltage method. Monitor contact burnout; if the burnout mark reaches the moving conducting pole, the electrical endurance is finished and the unit must be replaced.

The rated voltage is 40.5 kV and the rated current is 3150 A. It operates at a frequency of 50 Hz.
