How do I choose the capacity for a server room?

Provide the total running load in kW and kVA, expected expansion, starting or peak current, site supply and required backup time. The final model must meet both its kVA and kW limits. Load compatibility is reviewed for the project.

What is the difference between K and KS models?

K standard models contain internal batteries. KS long-backup models use external batteries matched to the load and required runtime. The two versions have different weights and may have different cabinet dimensions.

Can a standard model also use external batteries?

Our compatible standard models can retain their internal batteries and add a matched external bank. Confirm the exact UPS model, DC voltage, battery type, charger capacity, connectors and protection before selecting the bank.

Is backup time always 5 to 8 minutes?

No. Runtime depends on the exact model, load, battery capacity, battery condition and operating conditions. Tell us the load and target runtime so the battery arrangement can be selected.

Does every model include an isolation transformer?

The tower models in this listing have no built-in isolation transformer. Sine-wave output does not by itself provide galvanic isolation.
