Precision Corrosion Resistant PE Electrofusion Ball Valve for Water Treatment Plant

Electrofusion creates a homogeneous molecular bond where the pipe and fitting become one entity, eliminating the interface where leakage could occur. Unlike mechanical joints that rely on gaskets which degrade over time, electrofusion joints are permanent, leak-proof, and have a lifetime equal to the pipe.

The valves are designed for a service life of over 50 years. This longevity is ensured by using premium virgin HDPE raw materials that provide high Long-Term Hydrostatic Strength (LTHS) and excellent Environmental Stress Crack Resistance (ESCR).

The fitting contains a barcode/data matrix with specific welding parameters. The welding machine reads this data to automatically control voltage, time, and cooling. It also monitors resistance and temperature in real-time, aborting the cycle if any parameter deviates, thus preventing defective joints.

They are ideal for natural gas distribution networks, municipal water supply systems, industrial process piping (chemical, food, pharmaceutical), mining slurry transport, and agricultural irrigation systems. They are suitable for both above-ground and underground installations.

The process includes: 1) Surface Preparation (scraping oxidized layer), 2) Clamping & Alignment, 3) Initiation & Heating (melting surfaces via embedded coil), 4) Melting & Interfusion (material merging under pressure), and 5) Controlled Cooling (solidifying the bond without stress cracks).
