It combines three separate valve functions into one body : Check Valve: It acts as a non-slam check valve to prevent reverse flow (backflow) and water hammer when the pump shuts off . Q:Where should the valve be installed?
A:
The valve must be installed on the discharge side of the system or zone pump. The arrow on the valve body must point in the direction of the flow .
