Linear Alkyl Sulphonic Acid is an anionic surfactant raw material. Widely used in laundry powder, liquid detergent, dishwashing liquid, soap, textile auxiliaries, leather degreasing, electroplating, paper deinking. It is neutralized to make LAS.
Q:How should LABSA be stored and what is its shelf life?
A:
Keep in cool, dry, ventilated warehouse, away from strong alkali & oxidants, keep drums sealed. Shelf life: 12 months under proper storage. It will thicken at low temperature, this is normal and recover after gentle heating.
Q:What are the physical properties of LABSA?
A:
LABSA 96% is an anionic surfactant appearing as a brown viscous liquid with excellent detergency, foaming, emulsifying and dispersing properties.
