Standard delivery is soft annealed at no more than 255 HB, so your shop can machine, grind and shape it easily. Options include bright turned or peeled bar, precision ground round and flat stock, and hardened and tempered blanks when you order pre-finished tooling. Hardness and dimensions are measured on every batch, and each delivery carries a mill test certificate showing condition, heat number and results.

M2 is the economical all-round grade for drills, mills, taps, reamers, hobs and general cutting where edge temperature is moderate. M35 adds 5% cobalt for hotter, faster cutting and longer wear life. M42 (8% cobalt) suits hard, abrasive or heat-resistant workpieces such as stainless steel, titanium and nickel alloys. Tell us your tool type, workpiece material and cutting speed, and we will recommend the grade and heat treatment.

Every order ships with a material certificate, and an EN 10204 3.1-type inspection report is available on request. Sampling orders are accepted; the standard MOQ starts from about 500 kg per size.
