Q:Why choose 33 spindles (odd number) instead of an even number?
A:
An odd spindle count creates a non-symmetrical braid path, resulting in a more organic, natural surface texture with fewer repeating diagonal lines. This is especially desirable for decorative ropes, visible cable sleeves, and fashion accessories where appearance is critical, while still maintaining excellent structural integrity for load-bearing applications.
Q:Can I run only one head while the other is stopped?
A:
Yes. Each head is equipped with an independent electromagnetic clutch, allowing you to disengage either head for maintenance, sample runs, or single-product production. The other head continues operating normally, giving you flexible production control.
Q:What materials and yarn sizes are suitable for the 5-20 mm range?
A:
The machine handles cotton, nylon, polyester, polypropylene, aramid, fiberglass, copper wire, and soft steel wire. For heavy ropes, we recommend 2,000-5,000 denier synthetic yarns; for hose reinforcement, use high-tenacity polyester or steel wire with appropriate tension. Bobbin size is standard 47x142 mm, with custom sizes available.
