The print head is the core component of the printer, responsible for transferring ink or toner to paper, which directly affects the print quality. Inkjet print head sprays ink through tiny nozzles (such as thermal foaming type, piezoelectric type). Laser print head (optical component) includes laser, lens and photosensitive drum, used to generate electrostatic images.

Printing is broken, colorless, or blurry. The printer prompts print head failure or print head not detected. After multiple cleanings, normal printing still cannot be restored.

Turn off the printer and open the printer cover. Locate the printhead (usually under the ink cartridge holder). Unlock the old printhead (some models require pressing the latch). Install the new printhead, making sure the contacts are clean. Turn on the printer and calibrate (run the calibration procedure through the printer settings).

Use regularly (print at least once a week). Use original or high-quality ink (poor-quality ink can easily cause precipitation). Avoid long-term exposure to air (cover the dust cover when the inkjet printer is not in use).

The print is blurred, partially missing, or has white lines. There are black scratches on the paper (the print head is damaged and scratches the paper). The device reports the error print head overheated or print head failure.
