Q:What is sectional screw flight
A:
Sectional screw flight is made in single pitch segments. Each piece is pressed and twisted from sector steel plate. These individual segments are welded one by one onto the central shaft to form a full auger helix. Equal thickness from inner bore to outer edge.
Q:What is the difference between sectional flight and continuous flight?
A:
Sectional flight consists of separate single-pitch pieces with welding joints. It is ideal for large diameter, heavy plate and wear-resistant material. Worn segments can be replaced individually. Continuous flight is rolled from one whole strip without weld seams, only for small & thin augers.
Q:What materials are available?
A:
Carbon steel, wear-resistant manganese steel, SS304, SS316, alloy steel.
Q:What data do you need for quotation?
A:
Outer diameter(OD), inner diameter(ID), pitch, plate thickness, hand of helix(left/right), material and quantity. Drawings or samples are welcome.
Q:Left-hand or right-hand?
A:
Both available. The helix direction determines material conveying direction, made according to your drawing.
