Q:What is the difference between link v belt and solid rubber v belt?
A:
Link V belt is assembled by separate links, length can be adjusted freely. No need to remove pulleys during installation. Only damaged links need replacement. Solid rubber V belt has fixed length; you have to replace the whole belt once broken.
Q:Is link v belt suitable for air compressor?
A:
Yes, it works well for small & medium air compressors, woodworking machines, fans and water pumps with shock load. Not recommended for continuous heavy-duty & ultra-high speed applications.
Q:What material is the link belt?
A:
Main material is PU polyurethane with PET polyester tensile cords, featuring wear resistance, oil resistance and good shock absorption. Canvas rivet type is old style and less popular now.
Q:Can it fit standard V pulleys?
A:
Yes. Z/A/B/C type link belts match standard V-groove pulleys, direct replacement for ordinary v-belts.
Q:Temperature range of PU link belt?
A:
Working temperature: -40C ~ 116C.
