Q:What is a Voltage Dip Compensator (VDC) and how is it different from a UPS?
A:
A VDC uses ultracapacitor energy storage to inject missing voltage within milliseconds, so sensitive loads never see the dip. Unlike a UPS, it has no batteries to replace, runs at >98% efficiency, stays cool, and is maintenance-free for 10+ years.
Q:How fast does GRT-VDC respond and how deep can it compensate?
A:
Detection in 2 ms, full compensation in <4 ms - far faster than a UPS (5-95 ms). Compensation depth is 100%: even if grid voltage drops to 0 V, the load side stays at rated voltage. Standard ride-through is 1 second, customizable to 1-5 seconds.
