Q:Is this product compatible with the other raw materials in our AAC recipe (e.g., lime, fly ash, gypsum)?

Yes, PCE 1016L is specifically engineered to be fully compatible with all common AAC raw materials, including Portland cement, quicklime, gypsum, and various types of fly ash (PFA). We still recommend a compatibility test for first-time users.

Q:What is the shelf life, and what happens if the product freezes during storage?

The shelf life is 6 months in original, sealed containers. If the product freezes, it should be thawed at room temperature (or in a warm water bath) and then stirred vigorously until it is completely homogeneous before use. Freeze-thaw cycles may slightly affect performance, so protective storage is strongly advised.

Q:Can we dilute PCE 1016L with water before adding it to the mix?

Dilution is not generally recommended as it can affect the product's stability and performance. If dilution is absolutely necessary for your dosing system, it should be done with clean, pH-neutral water immediately before use, and the diluted solution must be used within a few hours. Please consult our technical team for guidance.
