Rdp-7028 Redispersible Polymer Powder Vae Copolymer White Powder

RDP-7028 is cost effective redispersible polymer powder manufactured by spray drying VAE emulsion. It provides outstanding bonding and film forming performance for multiple mortar systems.

It can quickly redisperse into stable emulsion upon contact with water. After water evaporation it forms flexible polymer film to enhance comprehensive mortar properties.

It delivers excellent bonding strength and upgrades water resistance performance for finished mortar products. It also greatly improves mortar flexibility for exterior construction applications.

Appearance is free flowing white powder. Bulk density ranges 500 to 700 gram per litre. Moisture content is controlled no more than 2.0 percent and polyvinyl alcohol serves as protective colloid.

Solid content reaches no less than 98 percent and minimum film forming temperature is 3 degree Celsius, which supports stable film formation under regular construction environment.

Main application scenarios cover tile adhesives repair mortar and bonding mortar for exterior insulation finishing systems EIFS. It fits different kinds of dry mix mortar formulations.

Recommended dosage is 0.8 percent to 1.5 percent by weight of cementitious material.

Manual mixing on site requires 5 minutes slaking time followed by second stirring for better dispersion effect. Mechanical mixing can skip the slaking operation.

It shows good compatibility with all Portland cements and gypsum based products as well as Sidley full series admixtures. It needs separate feeding into mixing system.

It belongs to non hazardous goods for transportation. Avoid dust accumulation during handling. Sweep spilled product under dry condition to prevent slipping risk.
