Unlike polyester resins, epoxies do not shrink during curing, provide excellent weather and chemical resistance, and bond reliably to dense engineered stones without yellowing over time . For visible seams, knife-grade epoxy delivers the strongest bond and best color match

Proper surface preparation is critical-no adhesive can compensate for a dirty or poorly prepared surface . The stone surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of dust, polish residue, grease, sealer, or moisture . We recommend wiping with acetone or a suitable degreaser. Additionally, lightly sanding or scoring a polished edge creates a rough texture, significantly improving the adhesive's grip . The most overlooked factor in seam failures is bonding to a polished edge instead of a roughened surface

Our epoxy requires an accurate mixing ratio (typically 1:1 by weight) . Please refer to the Technical Data Sheet (TDS) for your specific product for the exact ratio. To ensure a perfect cure, mix the resin and hardener thoroughly for several minutes, scraping the sides and bottom of the container . Incomplete mixing can result in uncured product, which may stain porous stone like marble
