Q:When should I use thicker coats versus thinner coats?
A:
Thinner coats are desirable for higher mesh counts (200+ mesh) for fine detail, while thicker coats are used for spot color on lower mesh counts (below 200 mesh).
Q:How do I properly coat a screen?
A:
Coat the substrate side first, starting at the bottom. Press the edge against the mesh, move slowly up, stop near the top, twist upwards, flip the screen, and repeat on the ink well side.
