For a 20x24 inch screen, use a 16 inch coater. For 18x20 inch screens, use 14 inch. For 23x31 inch screens, use 18 inch. For 25x36 inch screens, use 20 inch.
Q:What is the coating angle designed for?
A:
The coating angle is calibrated to give a perfect coating of emulsion every time.
Q:How do I apply emulsion with this coater?
A:
Coat the substrate side first. Start at the bottom, press the edge against the mesh, move slowly up, slow down near the top, twist upwards to remove, flip the screen, and repeat on the ink well side.
Q:What is the material of the scoop coater?
A:
It is made of High Quality Aluminum Alloy (RoHS 6061) with molded plastic endcaps.
Q:Is the coater suitable for different mesh counts?
A:
Yes. Thinner coats are desirable for higher mesh counts (200mesh and above), while thicker coats are used for lower mesh counts (below 200mesh).
