We offer customization for material, width, thickness, roll length, hardness, and color. Full customization, minor customization, and flexible customization are available based on samples or designs.
Q:What is the triple layer squeegee design used for?
A:
The triple layer/durometer squeegee with a square edge provides the responsiveness of a soft to medium hard blade without undesired flexing. It is excellent for printing on high mesh counts with high tension.
Q:What are the recommended storage conditions?
A:
Store polyurethane squeegees flat in a dry environment (50% Relative Humidity) at room temperature (60-70 degrees F). Avoid temperatures below 60 degrees F to prevent durometer increase.
Q:How should the squeegee be maintained after use?
A:
Wipe clean and dry after removal. Allow it to rest for 24 hours to recover from ink/solvent attack. It can then be re-sharpened or placed back into production.
Q:What types of surfaces is this squeegee suitable for?
A:
It is suitable for container decorating, glass, metal, vinyl, and other smooth surfaces with fine detail. Specific hardness options are good for nylon textile printing and dark colors.
