When the marine anchor is not in use, it should be stored in a dry and ventilated place to avoid getting damp and rusty. If conditions permit, it is best to hang the anchor to prevent friction and corrosion from contact with the ground. At the same time, keep it away from chemical substances to prevent damage to the anchor body.

When slight rust is found, first use sandpaper or a wire brush to grind off the rust until the metal luster is exposed. Then, apply a layer of anti-rust paint for protection. Strengthen the observation of this part later to ensure the rust does not spread.
