The whole bearing consists of three parts: internal laminated core, upper & lower connecting flange plates and outer protective rubber cover.
Q:what is laminated core?
A:
Alternating layers of thin natural rubber sheets and highstrength steel plates are integrally vulcanized and bonded under high temperature ,140 to 160 centigrade and high pressure via a plate vulcanizer, with no delamination gaps.
Steel plates: 2 to 5 mm thick, restricting lateral expansion of rubber and providing high vertical bearing stiffness;
Natural rubber layers: single layer thickness 5 to 15 mm, offering horizontal flexible deformation and elastic selfcentering capacity.
