The fixed spherical bearing consists of upper bearing plate, spherical crown liner, modified PTFE spherical slide plate, lower base plate and annular dustproof sealing assembly.

Q:Working principle

When the superstructure generates tiny rotation angles due to loads, settlement and temperature differences, the spherical crown liner rotates freely in all directions along the spherical slide plate to release bending moment stress. The upper and lower bearing plates are rigidly engaged by limiting blocks to completely restrict longitudinal and transverse horizontal displacement. This bearing serves as the sole fixed reference point for the entire structure
