It is a transient thermal property analyzer designed to measure the thermal diffusivity of solid materials using the laser flash method. Thermal conductivity can then be calculated using thermal diffusivity, density and specific heat data.
Q:What materials can the instrument test?
A:
It is suitable for metals, alloys, graphite, graphene-based specimens, silicon carbide, thermally conductive ceramics and other solid materials with medium or high thermal conductivity.
Q:Can it test graphene powder directly?
A:
The standard sample holder is intended for solid specimens. Graphene normally needs to be prepared as a film, sheet, compacted sample or composite before testing. Confirm the preparation method before measurement.
