A convex mirror, also known as a diverging mirror, is a curved mirror with a surface that bulges outward. Its shape causes incoming light rays to spread out (diverge) rather than converge at a single point, resulting in a virtual, upright, and diminished image. Convex mirrors are commonly used in applications where a wide field of view is needed, such as in security systems, rearview mirrors for vehicles, and store interiors to enhance surveillance.

For a convex mirror, a negative image distance indicates that the image is formed behind the mirror (virtual image). This is a standard convention in optics, where the image distance is considered negative when the image is virtual and cannot be projected onto a screen. In the case of convex mirrors, the focal length is also negative because the focal point lies behind the mirror.

The convex mirrors are available in multiple sizes. Indoor styles include 30cm, 45cm, 60cm, 75cm, and 80cm. Outdoor styles include 45cm, 60cm, 75cm, 80cm, 100cm, and 120cm.

Convex mirrors have a minimum order quantity (MOQ) due to their high volume-to-weight ratio. We do not sell them individually. The minimum quantity is 100 units, which can be combined with traffic cones or warning posts.

The mirror is made of a plastic case with a PC soft mirror surface. The backboard material is ABS. The surface is protected by a protective film for durability.
