Our standard lengths are typically 1830 mm or 2440 mm, with widths of 140 mm or 152 mm and a thickness of 15 mm. We also offer OEM customisation; please provide specific CAD drawings or dimensional requirements, and we will manufacture them to your specifications.

The product undergoes rigorous kiln-drying; the moisture content for export is typically kept below 15%, which effectively prevents mould or warping during long-distance sea transport.

We offer two grades: construction grade and appearance grade. The grade typically used for fencing is the appearance grade (Select/Appearance Grade), which features an attractive grain, few knots (and where present, they are live knots), and a finely planed surface.

Japanese cedar contains natural oils in its heartwood and has moderate natural rot resistance. To ensure a service life of 5 10 years in outdoor applications such as garden fencing.we strongly recommend pressure-treating the timber with CCA or ACQ, or applying a coat of wood wax oil or varnish to the surface to enhance its outdoor durability.

Japanese cedar is a light, soft wood with a straight grain and relatively good dimensional stability. Provided it has undergone proper drying and shaping, it performs very reliably under normal outdoor conditions.
