Q:How does the hydraulic elevator dam operate? What is the lift time and drop time? Can the water be blocking at any height?

The back side is supported by two hydraulic cylinders powered by a hydraulic station using oil as the medium. Lifting time is about 1min/m, lowering time is adjustable from 30s to 30min. It can achieve arbitrary dam height water retention.

Q:How does the dam work if sedimentation on top of its surface is more than 30 cm?

The dam is designed to withstand severe sedimentation. It can adjust up to a vertical angle of 75 degrees to wash away sediment under normal flow. Remaining sediment does not significantly affect lifting or dropping.

Q:What should be done if branches and stones are stuck in the dam?

Floating objects like branches drift away with water flow. For stones stuck between surfaces, adjusting the dam's angle releases them via gravity and water flow.

Q:Is it possible to lift and drop the dam at the same time?

Yes, custom design of the hydraulic pump station can achieve synchronous lifting and dropping. Enhanced flow and power may increase the cost.

Q:Is it possible to operate the dam manually? How much more economical is this option?

Manual control is possible using a hand pump or diesel engine for areas without electricity. For multiple gates, only one mobile engine is needed, saving 30%-40% investment compared to hydraulic operation.
