The back side is supported by two hydraulic cylinders powered by a hydraulic station. Lifting time is about 1min/m, lowering time is adjustable from 30s to 30min. It can achieve arbitrary dam height water retention.

The dam is designed to withstand severe mud and sand sedimentation. It can adjust up to a vertical angle of 75 degrees to wash away sedimentation. Any remaining sediment is not significant enough to affect operation.

Q:What should be done if branches and stones are stuck in the dam?

Floating objects like branches can be drifted away by adjusting the dam or coordinating with adjacent dams. If stones are stuck, the dam's angle can be adjusted to release them due to gravity and water flow.

Q:Is it possible to lift and drop the dam at the same time?

Yes, a custom-designed hydraulic pump station can achieve synchronous lifting and dropping. Enhancing flow and power for this feature will increase the dam's cost.

Q:Is it possible to operate the dam manually? How much more economical is this option?

Manual control is possible using a hand pump or diesel engine for areas without electricity. For rivers with multiple gates, only one mobile diesel engine is needed, saving about 30%-40% investment.
