The rammer delivers 12-16 kN of impact force with a jumping stroke of 40-85mm and frequency of 500-700 bpm. It is effective on cohesive soils granular soils,backfill trenches, and asphalt patching. It is not recommended for rocky or frozen ground.

Yes. We support full OEM/ODM customization including: engine brand selection, machine color ,custom label/logo, and packaging design. Minimum order quantity for OEM is 5 units; lead time is 15-25 working days depending on configuration.

Accepted Answer

MOQ is 1 unit for standard stocked models. Lead time is 3-7 working days for orders , and 15-20 working days for large volume orders  We maintain safety stock of our top models GX160/GX200 versions for prompt shipment.

Each unit is packed in a reinforced wooden crate or heavy-duty carton with foam padding. Standard dimensions: approx. 760X480X900mm; gross weight: ~95kg. We ship via sea freight FCL/LCL or air freight. FOB Ningbo/Shanghai; CIF pricing available on request.

All units come with a 12-month limited warranty covering manufacturing defects in the engine and mechanical components. Wear parts (spring bellows, tamping shoe, belts) are not covered. Our technical team provides 24/7 online support, and spare parts can be dispatched within 48 hours of claim approval.

Yes. The narrow steel tamping shoe, combined with high-impact frequency 500-700 bpm, makes it ideal for patching potholes, compacting asphalt at road edges, and working in confined areas where plate compactors cannot operate. The machine shown in our images is actively used on asphalt highway projects.

How does this machine compare to a plate compactor? When should I choose a tamping rammer?

Accepted Answer

A tamping rammer (jumping jack) is preferred for: (1) cohesive soils like clay that don't respond well to vibration, (2) narrow trenches and tight spaces, and (3) deep-layer compaction in lifts. A plate compactor is better for granular soils and large open areas. For mixed-condition job sites, a tamping rammer offers greater versatility.
