Kaolin is a natural non-metallic mineral mainly composed of hydrated aluminum silicate, with properties of good plasticity, high whiteness, excellent dispersion and stable chemical properties. Its main uses include paper making, ceramics, coatings, rubber, plastics, refractories and cosmetics, serving as a functional filler to improve smoothness, strength and processing performance of finished products.

The major producing and exporting countries include China, the United States, Brazil, the United Kingdom, and Australia. These regions dominate global production due to abundant high-quality kaolin reserves and mature processing technologies.

Key quality standards to consider include whiteness, particle size, viscosity, plasticity, moisture content and impurity level. It is also necessary to comply with international standards such as ISO, REACH and RoHS, and ensure low heavy metal content and stable chemical composition for industrial application.

Kaolin is usually packed in 25kg woven bags with inner plastic liners or 1000kg jumbo bags. Packages are clearly marked with product grade, mesh size, batch number and net weight. Bulk orders are delivered by container shipment to ensure dry and safe transportation.
