An oil-immersed transformer uses transformer oil as both the insulation and cooling medium.It offers excellent heat dissipation, strong overload capacity, and lower procurement cost, making it ideal for outdoor distribution, industrial plants, and rural grid projects.
Q:Oil-immersed or dry-type, which should I choose?
A:
Choose oil-immersed for outdoor areas (substations, factories, rural grids): ~30% lower cost, better overload capacity.
Choose dry-type for indoor/populated areas (hospitals, malls, subways, basements): fire-proof and explosion-proof, no oil leakage risk.
Q:How do I choose the right capacity (kVA)?

Just tell us the total load (kW) ,we wiil help you.
Q:Copper or aluminum windings?
A:
We recommend full copper windings for long term reliability and lowest life cycle loss (aluminum has 60% of copper's conductivity, causing higher copper loss and heat). The winding material must be written explicitly in the contract never leave it as a vague "copper transformer" to avoid disputes.
