Q:What is the enclosure protection rating of the KYN28-12, and how are the compartments separated?
A:
Overall enclosure: IP4X (prevents entry of solid objects >1 mm).
When the circuit breaker door is open: IP2X (prevents finger access).
The cabinet is divided into four independent compartments-breaker, busbar, cable, and relay-each with its own arc pressure-relief channel to contain internal fault arcs.
Q:Which vacuum circuit breakers are compatible with KYN28-12? Are the breaker trucks interchangeable?
A:
It accommodates models such as VS1 (ZN63A), VD4, and HVX.
The breaker is center-mounted on a withdrawable truck with two positions: test/isolated and working. Trucks from different manufacturers are highly interchangeable, facilitating easy maintenance and quick replacement.
Q:What "five-prevention" interlocking functions does the KYN28-12 provide?
A:
Pulling/pushing the breaker truck under load.
