The choice depends on site conditions. Vertical tanks have a smaller footprint and better self-pressurization. Horizontal tanks have a lower center of gravity, offering better stability for transportation or sites with limited floor load-bearing capacity.
Q:What insulation technology do your cryogenic tanks use?
A:
We use vacuum powder insulation with specially treated expanded perlite evacuated to a high vacuum. A dedicated adsorbent and thermocouple vacuum gauge allow monitoring of the vacuum level to prevent increased evaporation.
Q:How long can the vacuum last in your tanks?
A:
The vacuum life of our tanks typically reaches 5 to 10 years or longer, ensuring long-term insulation performance and efficiency.
Q:Can the tanks comply with ASME or GB standards?
A:
Our products strictly follow GB standards, and we can also manufacture according to ASME or other international codes upon request.
Q:What should I do if the outer shell starts sweating or frosting?
A:
This indicates vacuum loss or perlite settling. Steps: 1. Check vacuum level with a gauge. 2. If leakage is found, repair weld and re-evacuate. 3. If perlite settled, add more perlite and re-evacuate.
