Maintain lubricant concentration and temperature within supplier recommended parameters. Failure to do so will reduce lubricity and lead to increased die wear. Make sure your filtration system is functioning properly to keep your drawing lubricant clean. Ideally, ensure that the lubricant nozzle is pointed toward the entrance of the drawing die to keep the entrance part of the drawing die clean and prevent the die from clogging.
