Q:What exactly is a CNG sub-station integrated compressor?
A:
It is a complete CNG refuelling sub-station packaged as one unit. The unloading column, gas filter, compressor, oil-and-gas cooling system, storage cylinder group and dispensing machines are connected by valves and piping inside a single weatherproof, noise-reduced enclosure. The whole package is skid-mounted and PLC-controlled for fully unmanned operation.
Q:How does the hydraulic compression drive work?
A:
An electric motor drives the hydraulic oil pump. Through an integrated reversing manifold, hydraulic oil continuously pushes the piston back and forth -a reciprocating double-acting structure- to compress the natural gas. A piston position sensing system gives the PLC precise stroke control, and there is no crank mechanism.
Q:Does the station need operators on site?
A:
No. The unit is designed for fully unmanned operation. A PLC control cabinet provides full automatic control -sequencing, monitoring and protection- with a touchscreen interface and a soft starter. High automation, simple operation and convenient maintenance are stated design goals.
Q:Is the compressed gas contaminated by oil?
A:
No. The compression path is oil-free lubricated. The L-HM46 anti-wear hydraulic oil is the drive medium -it powers the piston hydraulically but never enters the gas path, avoiding oil carry-over into storage cylinders and dispensing equipment.
