KJ series is made of ultra-fine grain solid tungsten carbide blank without brazed joints. It features consistent hardness and thermal performance for higher structural integrity than tipped bits.
Fully ground in one clamping setup, total runout less than 0.02mm. Better concentricity than brazed cutters with no thermal deformation issues.
Two separate rotation marks on each bit to avoid reverse installation, preventing workpiece burning, tool damage and production downtime.
Solid carbide structure allows full geometry restoration after regrind. It can be resharpened 5-8 times, more durable and lower long-term cost per hole than brazed bits.
Custom diameters, lengths and laser private labels are available. MOQ 50pcs per item, lead time 20-25 days.

Q:What is the difference between Solid Carbide (KJ-Series) and TCT (ZY-Series)?
A:
Solid Carbide (KJ-Series) is machined from a single piece of tungsten carbide - the entire cutting section is one material with no joints. TCT (ZY-Series) has a carbide tip brazed onto a steel body. Solid carbide offers: no braze joint to fail, 3-5* longer service life, better concentricity, higher hardness (HRA 91-93), and 5-8 re-sharpenings vs 3-5 for TCT. The trade-off is higher initial cost. Choose solid carbide for high-volume production, abrasive materials, or applications where bit failur
Q:Will the solid carbide tip break or chip?
A:
Solid carbide is harder than TCT carbide but also more brittle. Under proper operating conditions (correct feed rate, appropriate spindle speed, no lateral force on the bit), chipping is extremely rare. The one-piece construction means there is no braze joint to crack from thermal cycling - a far more common failure mode in TCT bits. For extreme conditions, contact us for specific feed/speed recommendations.
Q:When should I choose solid carbide over TCT?
A:
Choose solid carbide when: (a) you run high-volume production (>500 panels/day), (b) you process abrasive materials (MDF, particle board, HPL), (c) you manufacture premium/high-value furniture where bit failure means scrapped panels, (d) you work with hardwood, or (e) you want the lowest possible cost per hole over the tool's lifetime. Choose TCT (ZY-Series) when budget is the primary constraint or production volumes are moderate.
