Q:What is Soft Clear PVC?
A:
Soft Clear PVC is flexible polyvinyl chloride material modified with plasticizers. It is transparent, soft and bendable, supplied mainly in roll form for blister, packaging, protective sleeve and stationery applications.
Q:What hardness range is available for soft clear PVC?
A:
Normally 60 95 Shore A. Hardness can be adjusted according to customer s requirement.
Q:Why does soft clear PVC have slight tint / slight yellowish shade?
A:
Unmodified soft PVC may show slight natural tint due to plasticizer and stabilizer. If zero tint is required, please specify at the time of RFQ.
Q:What are the main performance features?
A:
Good flexibility, low temperature bending resistance, fair anti aging performance. Not recommended for long term outdoor exposure without UV stabilizer.
Q:Will soft PVC become hard over time?
A:
Slight plasticizer migration may happen for long time storage. Proper sealed storage environment is suggested
