Q:Is this NEMA TT-30R interchangeable with NEMA 14-30R ?

No. NEMA 14-30R is straight blade receptacle. L14-30R is twist-lock locking type. They have different pin structure and cannot be interchanged.
Q:What are the common applications ?
A:
Widely used for RV, travel trailer, camper, generator and other US 30A power equipment.
Q:What wire and circuit breaker should I use for installation?
A:
Recommended 10 AWG copper wire. Must match a dedicated 30A double-pole circuit breaker. Installation needs to follow NEC code.
Q:Can I install it outdoors?
A:
This receptacle is for indoor use. If mounted outside, you need an extra waterproof box and weatherproof cover.
